Marcel Ruffino is a 5’11” libero from Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, graduating in 2027, with more than six years of competitive volleyball experience. He serves as both the libero and one of two team captains for KW Predators Purple Reign 17U, where he is recognized for his consistency, work ethic, and leadership on the court.

Beyond his technical skills, Ruffino is known for his natural ability to motivate his teammates and push the group forward in challenging moments. His energy and communication help raise the level of play around him, particularly in high-pressure situations where composure and momentum are critical.

Ruffino’s commitment to volleyball is matched by his focus on continuous improvement in both athletics and academics. Through his experience in competitive play, he has developed strong leadership, discipline, and teamwork skills that contribute significantly to his team’s performance. Coaches and teammates value his presence not only for his defensive reliability, but also for the way he inspires confidence and effort from those around him.

He is actively pursuing opportunities to compete at the NCAA or U SPORTS level, viewing college athletics as an important step in his development. He remains eager to take on new challenges and continue growing as both a student and athlete while contributing positively to his future team.
